At 33 years old, Robert Löhr has been a journalist, screenwriter, dramaturge, actor and a puppettier. He lives in Berlin. The success of his first novel has been compared to that of Perfume written by Patrick Süskind.

Ce terme désigne également une machine qui reproduit le mouvement et les attitudes d'un être vivant (voir Vaucanson, Jacquet-Droz).
